We are pleased to announce that PPMI | Part of the Verian Group is contributing to a project for the European Training Foundation (ETF) which supports the development of Regional Vocational Education and Training Centres (RVETCs) in North Macedonia. Our team brings dedicated VET expertise to the project together with the educational expert Vesna Janevski, within a consortium led by GREATVISORY.
Working closely with the Ministry of Education and Science and the RVETC network, this project conducted a participatory capacity gap analysis structured around governance and funding, cooperation and partnerships, and adult learning services. The methodology combined desk research, interviews, and surveys with RVETCs’ management, regional authorities, and employers, drawing on the ISATCOVE international benchmarking framework throughout. Nine case studies of good practices from comparable country contexts also informed the recommendations.
These findings were presented at a two-day national workshop in Skopje on 26-27 March 2026, bringing together RVETC directors, the Ministry of Education and Science, regional and local authorities, employers, and international partners. Vesna Janevski presented the key methodological approach and main capacity gap findings to the assembled stakeholders, alongside Antonie Onosimoski.
The resulting capacity building programme and policy recommendations supports the transformation of RVETCs into Centres of Vocational Excellence (Coves), better positioned to deliver quality, inclusive, and labour-market-relevant training, and to contribute meaningfully to regional development in North Macedonia.
We are proud to contribute to this important work.
