Under a new contract with DG Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE), PPMI | Part of the Verian Group will support the strategic development, coordination, and visibility of the Ambassadors for #DiversityInTransport Network, launched by DG MOVE in 2022. The project aims to amplify the Ambassadors’ visibility and impact across the European transport community, with a strong emphasis on cross-sector collaboration and inclusive stakeholder engagement.
PPMI | Part of the Verian Group will manage the onboarding of new Ambassadors and support their active participation across the Network . The team will also provide resources and guidance to enable Ambassadors to promote equality, inclusion and innovative practices within mobility and transport – for both transport workers and users.
Collaboration and knowledge exchange will be facilitated through digital tools, thematic subgroups and structured communication routines. External communication and outreach includes curated content for DG MOVE’s Diversity in Transport website, LinkedIn and relevant stakeholder channels. A key component of the work will be the delivery of a participatory annual conference, co-created with the Ambassadors, to celebrate progress and shape future priorities.
A robust KPI framework will guide the monitoring of progress, impact and engagement, with results reported regularly to the European Commission. These deliverables will empower Ambassadors and stakeholders to foster more inclusive, attractive and resilient mobility and transport across the EU, addressing systemic barriers and improving access and representation for underrepresented groups - in both the transport workforce and the user base.
