PPMI colleagues were recently invited to present the findings of the Smart Industrial Remoting study in a CONNECT University session on the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network held on 24 October 2023.
Barbora Kudzmanaitė, Research Manager, and Rūta Gabaliņa, Principal Investigator at PPMI, presented findings from the Smart Industrial Remoting study in a session dedicated to the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network. The goal of the session was to raise awareness among Commission colleagues about the EDIH network and its work in supporting the digitalisation of European businesses.
CONNECT University is a knowledge-sharing initiative run by DG CNECT that aims to inform EU staff and the general public on the latest Commission initiatives, digital trends and challenges. It aims to raise awareness about different workstreams and results of the ongoing work of the Commission.
The Smart Industrial Remoting study was implemented by PPMI for the European Commission between April 2022 and July 2023. It analysed the challenges faced by companies in adopting digital technologies and put forward practical recommendations for business digitalisation.
