Building upon NESET and EENEE, the European Commission establishes a new advisory network - ENESET - focused on the social and economic dimensions of education and training across EU. ENESET will provide the EC and other relevant policymakers with robust evidence and advice to support effective, equitable, and inclusive education systems. ENESET will bring together over 50 experts covering diverse fields and geographies. The network primary functions are to act as a knowledge broker and policy advisor, and to enhance the visibility and usability of research for policy development. This is done through in-depth analytical reports, a repository of counterfactual evaluation studies, and timely responses to ad hoc requests.
The role of PPMI will be to serve as the central coordinator for this new reinvented network ensuring that the network's activities run smoothly. PPMI | Part of the Verian Group will manage the day-to-day operations of the network and oversee the production of high-quality outputs for the EC.
Concretly, PPMI | Part of the Verian Group will:
- Coordinate and guide ENESET members
- Manage the production of analytical reports and ad hoc deliverables
- Ensure high-quality standards via a Quality and Advice Committee
- Enhance communication and dissemination efforts
- Develop a repository of counterfactual evaluation studies
