With a financial envelope of EUR 919.5 million, the EaSI Programme has provided financial support to promote a high level of quality and sustainable employment, guarantee adequate and decent social protection, combat social exclusion and poverty, and improve working conditions across the EU.
The final "Performance Monitoring Report of the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) 2019-2020" marks the end of the support and assistance provided by PPMI to the European Commission for the implementation of the EaSI Programme 2014-2020. Contracted by the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion in 2018, PPMI has successfully supported the update of the EaSI Programme's monitoring system and the analysis of the performance of the Programme regarding its objectives and policy achievements.
Within the scope of the contract, PPMI delivered two Biennial Performance Monitoring Reports of the EaSI Programme for the years 2017-2018 and 2019-2020 and provided relevant information from the perspective of the ex-post evaluation of EaSI and the next financing instrument post-2020. The contract concerned both update and implementation of the monitoring of the Programme involving timely collection and analysis of accurate information (quantitative and qualitative) at the level of the Programme's inputs, outputs, outcomes and processes. The analysis was carried out against the key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly updated and revised by our experts in agreement with the European Commission.
In addition to the mainstream monitoring process, the EaSI monitoring system aimed to analyse and disseminate the results of EaSI-funded action and operating grants, focusing in particular on identifying good practices in the context of these grants. For this purpose, PPMI has also developed 6 volumes of Reports on Projects and Organisations funded by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). The reports showcase successful activities supported by the EaSI Programme ranging from reforms of national social protection systems to raising awareness on how young people can benefit from the Youth Guarantee.
