Research Manager (Quantitative research)

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager with a strong background in quantitative methods to join our team.

PPMI (part of the Verian Group) is a leading European research and policy analysis centre. COME PREPARED

A successful candidate will have:

  • A true ambition to independently lead a portfolio of projects, develop and lead own team, in order to deliver great value for clients and society.
  • Either advanced quantitative skills: proficiency in statistical analysis, with the ability to design, execute, and interpret complex data studies. Experience with software such as R, Python, or MATLAB is essential.or
  • Data science expertise: strong foundation in data science principles, including machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive modeling, to drive innovation and efficiency in our research processes. 

In either case, it would be beneficial if you can also demonstrate:

  • AI application knowledge: practical experience applying AI technologies to solve real-world problems, particularly in research or policy analysis contexts. Familiarity with AI tools and platforms for data analysis and visualization.
  • Project management: demonstrated ability to manage research projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.
  • Innovative thinking: a passion for leveraging technology to uncover insights and solve challenges, along with a curiosity-driven approach to continuous learning and development.
  • Thorough understanding of EU institutions and decision-making processes at the EU level.
  • At least 5 years of relevant research and analytical work experience (ideally, both from perspectives of clients and providers).
  • Full English proficiency and excellent writing skills.
