We are excited to announce that PPMI, in collaboration with our colleagues at Verian, has been selected to lead a comprehensive EU-wide research project on preventing psychosocial risks and promoting mental health in workplaces across the EU. This assignment aims to identify the most effective national strategies, uncover key success factors and challenges, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises to develop actionable solutions that protect workers' mental health across the EU.
The project will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, we will analyse the approaches of the six countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia and Spain), identifying good practices and challenges related to PSR prevention, which could be applied to other Member States. The second phase will build on this by conducting in-depth case studies of selected national or sectoral initiatives, exploring their implementation and impact at the company level.
Our research will provide valuable insights into how legislation, policies, and programmes influence PSR prevention and mental health promotion, offering evidence-based recommendations to improve workplace well-being in the EU.
