We are excited to announce a new project undertaken by PPMI | Part of Verian Group for the European Parliament's Committee on Housing Crisis in the European Union (HOUS).
This significant study, titled "Mapping the housing needs in the EU, assessing the impacts of scarcity and providing an overview of relevant EU legislation", will delve into the critical issue of housing across the European Union. The project aims to provide an up-to-date understanding of how affordable, sustainable, and decent housing is defined in the EU, and to map current housing needs across various territories, populations, and income groups.
Our comprehensive methodology will combine AI-driven desk research and literature review with targeted stakeholder interviews and case studies. This multi-method approach will allow us to identify and analyse the main factors impacting both the demand for and supply of affordable, sustainable, and decent housing in the EU. The study will also assess the social and economic consequences of housing scarcity.
The findings of this project will contribute to shaping EU efforts in addressing the housing area, with a focus on ensuring access to affordable, sustainable, and decent housing for all.
