Hedvika Janeckova

Hedvika has been working at PPMI since the beginning of 2018. She has six years of experience in the coordination and implementation of international research projects, from methodological design and fieldwork to analysis and reporting. Her key areas of interest and fields of work are gender and intersecting inequalities, employment, working conditions, labour migration and social inclusion.

 

Prior to joining PPMI, Hedvika worked at the Multicultural Centre Prague where she was responsible for managing and carrying out research and advocacy activities in the area of migration, labour and social inclusion. She gained additional professional experience at the European Institute for Gender Equality and the International Labour Organisation.

 

Key areas of expertise

  • Thematic areas: gender and intersecting inequalities, employment, working conditions, labour migration and social inclusion
  • Methods: qualitative and quantitative research methods, including desk-based research, interviews, case studies, focus groups and descriptive statistical analysis
  • Project management: managing framework, long- and short-term contracts covering all EU countries, including building and coordinating large and diverse expert teams
