Greta Skubiejūtė

Greta Skubiejūtė joined PPMI as a researcher in January 2021. She has an educational background in Social Work and Social Policy. Since 2017, Greta has been pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Policy at Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University. Her Ph.D. research is on family policy and single mother families’ poverty. She has previously researched and published articles as well as given presentations at various international conferences on topics of Female genital mutilation, children oncology, stigmatization of schizophrenia, quality of foster care services and issues experienced by single mother families. Greta is particularly experienced in qualitative research (interviews and document analysis) and Policy Process analyses. Moreover, she has a lot of practical social work experience with various social groups, and therefore is familiar with many social issues from up close. Here, at PPMI Greta works as a researcher in education and social inclusion.
