Ellen Rahm

Ellen Rahm joined PPMI in January 2021 as a public management and public policy researcher. Ellen has previous experience managing public sector development projects commissioned by EU External Action and is a socially active citizen with experience in the third sector. Her main area of interest revolves around the welfare state and its future development in the face of growing financial and political pressure. Ellen is a native Swedish speaker but is also fluent in English and has achieved a B1 level in French that she continues to develop.

  • Policy areas: social policy, poverty reduction and social inclusion, research and innovation, public management, and labour market policy
  • Methods: qualitative and quantitative research methods, including desk-based research, interviews, surveys, qualitative analysis with NVivo software, quantitative content analysis and qualitative discourse/text analysis
