PPMI kicks off the new period of the Network of Experts working on the Social Dimension of Education and Training (NESET)

Last week PPMI participated in the kick-off meeting of the Network of Experts working on the Social Dimension of Education and Training (NESET), commissioned by the Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC). PPMI has been coordinating the Network since 2015, so this meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the first period (2015-2018) and to begin the new one (2019-2022).

The team met with officers from DG EAC, the Network’s Scientific coordinator Dragana Avramov, Coordination team members and key external experts. During the meeting we overviewed NESET's achievements in 2018, discussed upcoming activities and received a general update on the Commission’s future priorities. We were also praised for the Network's high quality deliverables and for a thought-provoking conference 'Strengthening Common European Values through Education. What does the Evidence tell us’'.

We are excited about the four years ahead, during which we will explore new fields in education and training. You can learn more about NESET on the Network’s website or by subscribing to quarterly newsletters. You can also follow the updates on LinkedIn, Facebook and ResearchGate.
