PPMI has been contracted to carry out the external evaluation to monitor progress towards the objectives of the Global AMR R&D Hub

German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) has contracted PPMI to carry out the "External Evaluation to monitor progress towards the objectives of the Global AMR R&D Hub".

The Global AMR R&D Hub was launched in May 2018 to address challenges and improve coordination and collaboration in global antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research and development field. One of the key deliverables of the Hub is the development of a Dynamic Dashboard which will provide information on current initiatives, funding and activities in AMR R&D field.

The work of the Hub is subject to an external evaluation to monitor progress towards its objectives. The evaluation will monitor, analyse and support the development and learning of the Hub by covering the first three years of Hub’s activities focusing on the establishment of structures and implementation of Hub’s first Work Plan. For this purpose, the evaluation team will carry out an extensive desk research, two rounds of interview and survey programme, dashboard uptake analytics, cost-effectiveness analysis, and prepare case studies and reports. By assessing the efforts made to reach its objectives, the evaluation results will help to continuously improve Hub’s work.
