PPMI was awarded with the two-years contract to provide technical assistance services to the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania which performs as a Managing and Certifying authority for European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in Lithuania. These services will cover a wide range of activities and tasks, including but not limited to the fields of:
- EU funds investment in specific sectors (according to the priorities of the operational program) or areas of strategic reform;
- Evaluation of the efficiency of public investment (cost-benefit analysis, evaluation of investment efficiency in case of specific significant projects;
- Implementation of EC initiatives (e.g. Youth Employment Initiative, Integrated Territorial Investments, Community Initiated Local Development, Urban or Territorial Development);
- Implementation of the Evaluation plans of 2014-2020 ESIF investment;
- Application of different means and forms of financing (subsidies, financial instruments, global grants);
- Monitoring of the use of EU funds (forecasts, planning, use, monitoring indicators, etc.);
- EU funds management processes;
- Application of simplified costs, etc.
