January 2020 marked the end of our framework contract with the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop). During three years of the execution of the project, PPMI provided several services to Cedefop, with the overall objective to improve its performance in fulfilling its vision and reaching its multi-annual objectives. More specifically, in the context of the assignment, PPMI supported Cedefop in:

  • Gaining more insight into how Cedefop’s Management Board members are exercising their supervisory function. This objective was achieved through the self-assessment survey of the Management Board.
  • Obtaining a comprehensive assessment of the quality and relevance of Cedefop’s consultation with its key stakeholders. This objective was achieved by developing, implementing and analysing the survey of Management Board with the purpose to assess to which extent Cedefop’s Management Board is satisfied with the quality of consultations with them and the role played by the Director in this process. This survey also informed the key performance indicator of the Director of Cedefop.
  • Better understanding of the quality and relevance of Cedefop’s work to its stakeholders. PPMI achieved this objective by implementing a survey of the key stakeholders of Cedefop. This survey provided insights on the satisfaction of stakeholders with Cedefop work and assessed their general information and research needs. The results of this survey also informed three newly developed qualitative indicators, which were proposed by PPMI in order to complement Cedefop’s current performance measurement system.
