This study aims to assess the health and well-being impacts of virtual worlds in consumer, industrial and professional environments, with special attention to vulnerable groups such as children, older adults, and persons with disabilities. The study will also present recommendations for European policy makers and researchers on how to identify and address the potential adverse health and well-being effects of virtual world technologies.
