The project "Data collection and analysis of decentralised Erasmus+ projects" has successfully reviewed and analysed the impacts of Erasmus+ initiatives, focusing on enhancing digital skills for young people and adults in vocational education and training (VET), and improving outreach to engage young people not in employment, education, or training (NEETs) as well as other vulnerable groups.
Project Highlights:
- Innovative Practices Identified: The study selected 100 exemplary practices from the Erasmus+ project database, with 30 cases examined in-depth to extract valuable insights and lessons learned.
- Stakeholder Workshop: An online workshop held on April 17, 2024, validated preliminary findings and gathered input from stakeholders.
- Dissemination Brochure: A brochure was produced to stimulate creativity and innovation among educational stakeholders, encouraging the adaptation of successful strategies in various educational contexts.
Key Achievements:
- Effective VET Program Strategies: Identifying key success factors and challenges supporting successful fulfilment of set goals.
- Guidance for Educators: Showcasing successful methods and activities to help educators support NEETs effectively.
- Sustainability and Transferability: Sharing best practices for ensuring that project impacts extend beyond the initial timeline.
The findings provide a valuable resource for EU stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations to inform policymaking and enhance VET programmes across Europe. The lessons learned and best practices will contribute to the ongoing development and modernisation of VET systems, ensuring they remain responsive to labour market needs and supportive of learners' growth.
