After several years of successfully coordinating EENEE and NESET – two expert networks focused on the economic and social dimensions of education and training – PPMI (part of the Verian Group) will continue leading the new joint network, consolidating the expertise of its predecessors to better inform EU policy development.
ENESET will serve as an expert advisory body supporting the Commission's Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC). Under PPMI's coordination, it will produce in-depth analytical reports and respond swiftly to ad hoc requests, providing rigorous, policy-relevant evidence on what works in education and training systems. The network will also build a repository of counterfactual policy evaluations, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Drawing on the strengths of EENEE and NESET, ENESET will tackle pressing issues such as digital and green transitions in education, ensuring equity and social inclusion, and future skills requirements. ENESET will help foster more equitable, effective, and forward-looking education policies across Europe.
